What factors affect the accuracy in map tracking?
Did you just finish a Workout and observed low accuracy in the recorded data, specifically in the map tracking?
In this case it is important to point out that the training environment can influence the precision of Workouts.
For instance, if you are training within an urban setting with many tall buildings, these may interfere with GPS accuracy, potentially causing disruptions in the recorded map routes.
If you instead start a workout within open-air environments such as parks, rural areas, along riversides, or simply in more open spaces, it is more likely to result in more accurate recordings.
If you’ve activated the Auto Start/Stop feature, accessible in the Workouts Settings in the top right corner, and have encountered major inaccuracies in map tracking, we recommend disabling it.
