How do I connect my Polar to StepsApp?
StepsApp works seamlessly with your Polar fitness trackers and sports watches by syncing step data through the Apple Health app on your iPhone. As long as your device is compatible with Apple Health, StepsApp can read and display your activity.
To view your Polar steps in StepsApp, simply follow our instructions below.
What You Need to Do
1. Connect your Polar device to your iPhone using the Polar app.
2. Sync Polar’s Step Data to Apple Health.
3. Allow StepsApp to access Apple Health.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Connect Your Polar to Your iPhone
- Download the Polar app from the App Store.
- Open the app and sign in or create an account.
- Pair your Polar device with the Polar app via Bluetooth.
Step 2: Sync Polar’s Step Data to Apple Health
- In the Polar app, go to More > General Settings > Apple Health.
- Enable all necessary permissions to sync data to Apple Health, including Steps and other available activity metrics.
Step 3: Allow StepsApp to Access Apple Health
- Open StepsApp.
- Go to Settings > Apple Health.
- Enable Apple Health Sync.
Once the setup is completed, StepsApp will show the steps from your Polar fitness trackers and sports watches automatically.
