Can I stop or pause step counting?

General Information StepsApp Android

With StepsApp 3.0 and the latest version of Android it is possible to pause the app when you are for example driving the car, or when you are on the bus or train.

If you wish,you can activate the Pause Button in the Settings of StepsApp to avoid counting steps during biking or other activities:

  • Open StepsApp

  • Go to “Settings”

  • Tap on “Show Pause Button”

  • Switch to main screen

  • Click on pause button
